This December 17th, we will be celebrating our students and their achievements so far this year at our annual holiday gala, MISTLETOES. Students will have a chance to perform for their families and celebrate together with the broader community. All proceeds benefit mlkballet’s tuition-free dance training programs.
Our Fall Children’s Classes are no longer enrolling, but our Winter Session will begin on January 6th. Please visit Class Schedule for more details.
Adult Open Ballet classes are ongoing throughout the year and take place on Monday evenings, 7:15-8:30pm.

MLKBallet is back with one of their most engaging contemporary dance series, Ten Tiny Dances®. The audience will get a rare, up-close theatre experience featuring ten performances from some of the area’s most innovative dancers, all confined to a 4 foot by 4 foot stage.

Contemporary Dance Classes
Three weeks only!
August 4th, 11th, and 18th
Urban Grace Studio
$7 per class or $15 for all three
Join choreographer/teacher Joel Myers for a high-energy contemporary class that is a blend of Modern, Ballet, and Jazz techniques as well as Mr. Myers original choreography. This class will provide a challenging workout for the advanced dancer while the teaching style allows the beginner to thrive as well. Joel is a former principal artist with Spectrum Dance Theater and currently is the Assistant Artistic Director of the Tacoma City Ballet as well as the Program Coordinator for Spectrum Dance Theaters pre-professional Academy Program. (Regular MLKBallet class cards do not apply.)
Our Open Adult Classes are still going strong every Monday night, 7:15pm-8:30pm. Come dance with us!
